Master Gem Carver Sean Davis stretches the limits of design and technique.  His carvings range from amorphous organic abstracts to precisely executed architectural pieces.  His talent lies in finding the true nature of each stone and bringing it to light whether it be a quiet beauty, a whimsical humor, the grotesque or the macabre.  Sean's designs combine cutting edge gem carving techniques with imagination, spirit and emotion.

   Sean has been carving gemstones for 14 years.  He apprenticed under world-renowned gem carver Glenn Lehrer.  He received his Bachelor of Arts at California College of Arts and Crafts.  He currently lives with his family in Petaluma, California where he has his art studio.
